I wanted to come back and update my previous post about that annoying rear clunk on my 2019 Mustang GT. After two failed repairs at other shops, I finally took the car to a place that specializes in Mustangs, and they found that both rear shock absorbers were completely shot internally, no visible leaks but absolutely no rebound damping left. The rubber in the upper mounts had also collapsed, which was causing the shock shaft to knock against the mount over bumps. I ended up getting an efficient Mustang shock absorber replacement from Suspension Repair Dubai using Bilstein B6 units and heavy duty mounts, and the car feels completely different. No more clunk, no more skipping over bumps, and the rear end actually feels planted now. The mechanic showed me the old shocks and I could compress them with one finger and they wouldn't extend back at all. So if you have a Mustang with a mystery rear clunk that won't go away no matter what bushings or links you replace, don't overlook the shocks themselves. They wear out way sooner than you'd think, especially on our rough roads. Total cost was about 2,800 including alignment and it was done in half a day. Hope this helps someone else who's been chasing the same noise I was.
